For more than 30 years, Moore's Boatworks has proudly served commercial fishing vessels, workboats, and recreational boaters throughout British Columbia's North Coast. Our reputation wasn't built overnight. It was built one customer, one repair, and one handshake at a time.
Owner Ken Moore has dedicated more than 40 years to the marine industry. Through hard work, curiosity, and thousands of hours of hands-on experience, he built Moore's Boatworks into the respected family business it is today. Ken believes knowledge should be shared—whether he's troubleshooting over the phone or teaching a better way to complete a repair.

Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn.
REQUIRED
CONSIDERED AN ASSET
Experience in any of the following:
- Heavy equipment operation
- Forklift operation
- Welding and fabrication
- Mechanical repair
- Commercial fishing
- Forestry
- Construction
- Industrial trades
- Marine industry experience
- First Aid Certification

What You'll Be Doing
No two days at Moore's Boatworks are ever the same. Depending on the season and the projects in the yard, your work may include:
- Operating heavy equipment and yard machinery.
- Assisting with vessel haul-outs and launches using our 35-ton Travelift.
- Performing marine mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Welding and fabricating components for commercial and recreational vessels.
- Diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of marine systems.
- Maintaining shop equipment and helping keep our yard clean, organized, and safe.
- Working alongside experienced marine professionals who are invested in helping you succeed.
